Who is to Blame for the
Lack of True Love?

Who is to blame for the lack of true love in our modern-day society?

I Love You! Finding a fitting answer to the above question is very pertinent indeed due to the widespread belief everywhere that true love is utopia.

Another reason why it is highly important to find answer to the above question is to establish the cause and effect of the lack of true love in our society, so as to find a lasting solution to the unhealthy situation.

Certainly, it is a statement of fact generally accepted everywhere that true love has almost become extinct in our society of today. There is absolutely no doubt about that whatsoever and it is not even subject to any dispute from any quarters.

So, I ask again: who is responsible for the lack of true love in our society of today?

Many boys and young men feel that the girls are to blame for the seeming lack of true love in the society today.

They feel that young girls and women in general are selfish in their love expressions; that they only agree to have a relationship with you if you can provide for all their needs.

And this is not without good reason. Many of those young men have experienced a lot of heartbreaks from different girls. Is it any wonder then that they feel the way they do about who to blame for the lack of true love in the society?

Some Practical Real-life Scenarios

Just recently, a girlfriend of a friend of mine broke up with him for no justifiable reason whatsoever. She simply said that she needed some space; that she felt being stifled by his possessiveness. Now my friend has resolved that he will never have or express love for any girl ever again.

What do you think? Is it fair and proper to break up a long-term relationship of 5 to 7 years without any justifiable reason simply because of the very flimsy excuse of needing "some space"?

Personally, l have had my own share of heartbreak love stories (see Fictitious Love Story). The last heartbreak was so terrible that l resolved that l was never going to fall in love ever again, until l met Yemisi...

Yemisi initially pretended to be different from the other girls in my previous relationships. With the benefit of hindsight, I now know that her professed love for me was stereo-typed due to the fact that I opened up to her about my previous dead relationships.

Thus, she repeated the words "I love you" in its various forms on a daily basis. She sent me several love text messages almost to no end. But little did l know that it was all an act! That was because she acted out her script so well like a very proficient and experienced actress acting out a part.

Genuine, undying true love never end!Longing for a fresh breath of genuine, undying true love, and after suffering so many heartaches and disappointments from different girls for so long, I became the perfect sucker for Yemisi's wiles.

Yemisi made me believe that she was different from the rest. How was I to know that she was a green snake under green grass?

The encounter with Yemisi was the last straw that broke the carmel's back. Now, I am very wary about falling in love ever again. For all the gory details about my encounter with Yemisi, please see the web page: Love Scam on Facebook? Better Believe It! It is REAL!!!

On the other hand, many girls have their own side of the story. They feel that boys and men are to blame for the lack of true love in the sociey today. In their own opinion, they feel that men have become too preoccupied with themselves that they no longer have time for them.

Additionally, some girls are also of the view that boys and men in general tell a lot of lies and are dishonest about their relationships. Thus, they feel that many men keep several girls, hence forcing the girls to do same.
