Certainly, the subject of the role of money in a relationship is a very debatable subject indeed.

So, what do you think? Is the role of money in a relationship very important, moderately important, slightly important or not important to the success or failure of a relationship?

But, personally, l strongly believe that money is not important in a relationship but it is necessary. And why is that? The simple reason is that if money was very important in a relationship, the richest people would be the happiest people on earth.

But, is that the case? Of course not! Too much money does not automatically make you happy. And that is because happiness is a state of the mind and the heart - regardless of the status of your bank account.

Additionally, if money guarantee marital happiness, as well as the success of a relationship, divorce rate would not be higher among the rich than the poor as shown by the global divorce rate statistics on this website.

However, let me know if you agree with me on this that the role of money in a relationship is not important but necessary. And please do not feel intimidated or even embarrassed by my personal opinion given above. It is just and will continue to remain my own personal opinion.

That should not in any way scare you away from making your own contributions - as honestly as you can.
